Ms. Julie Dressner

Julie Dressner is a documentary filmmaker and video journalist who also has extensive experience working on human rights in the former Soviet Union and the United States.

Dressner, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, won a National Magazine Award in 2012 for video for a short film that she produced for The New York Times Web site about her children’s experience at a Russian school in Moscow. She has produced other videos for The Times Web site, including one published in June 2012 about the New York City Police Department’s controversial “stop-and-frisk” policy.
